ece444 uses Microsoft Project Web Access for process scheduling...
Project Web Access (PWA) is used by students of ece444 to help manage their time wisely. It is a central
repository for task assignments, a discussion board, a knowledge base wiki, and documentation for the
process and equipment.
Connecting to PWA requires the user to be logged into a Windows workstation on campus. Access from off
campus requires a VPN connection. For more information on connecting to the departmental VPN server see the
instructions on CTS's VPN Service page.
Important Notes about PWA
You may be asked to authenticate using your NetID and Active Directory password when
connecting to PWA using a VPN connection.
Your account domain (uiuc) must be specified as follows:
Username: uiuc\NetID
Password: AD password
PWA only works in MS Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer.
You will need to download several ActiveX controls in order for PWA to be
fully functional.
Other browsers will not work with PWA...
VPN, PWA, and Personal Firewall Issues
If you have problems connecting from off-campus with a VPN connection and are
running a personal firewall, you may have to adjust your settings to allow
the campus DNS and AD server access to your system. An alternative is to
turn off your firewall while working with Project.
